Where do I begin with MBA? From the moment I started speaking with Danny Le (getting approved), at the start of the process, all the way to the very end (getting through underwriting) with Brianna V and Maria D., I truly could tell I was in the hands of some very competent, sharp, responsible, experienced people. Danny Le got me the lowest possible interest rate of anyone I know. I interviewed so many mortgage companies (an unhealthy amount) and Danny’s rate won by a massive margin every single time. Even after MBA paid for my closing costs, my rate was still under 3%. Mitchell C. was patient, helpful, and reachable during the DocuSign process. Brianna and Maria towards the end were immensely responsive and strategic. They were honest about the process, never over-promising or bullshitting me, but also keeping things positive, practical and moving along. As long as I was providing the documents and verifications they were asking for, they were always readying to take that next leap in the process. There was never a delay. Even the appraisal, which was ordered by them, was done exactly on time without issue. In general I’ve heard so many horror stories about buying a house, I really was prepared to experience my own horror story, but MBA came through like true mortgage lending scientists and I could not have had an easier journey. MBA? More like MVPs! I plan to purchase more buildings in the future and I can’t imagine doing that without the MBA Mortgage team.

This was my first time going through the home-buying process, and there wasn’t a text/e-mail/phone call that Sebastian didn’t respond to ASAP. It was very reassuring to have someone like him working with you because you feel at times like you are asking a lot of ‘stupid’ questions. As a first time home buyer, the process of getting pre-approved for a loan was intimidating. Nathalie was knowledgeable and always available when I needed her. Brianna’s excellent communication and ability to continuously follow-up throughout the entire process to provide updates, without me having to check-in in first, always made me feel like she was on top of things. It created a sense of transparency where I was always felt like I was kept up to date on what was going on and where we were in the process. All my emails and/or phone calls were typically always responded to same-day where I never felt like I was chasing someone to help me. When it came time to work with my particular lender, Brianna made me feel like she always was working in my best interest. Working with Brian and everyone at MBA was great. The mortgage process is convoluted and Brian laid everything out in an organized and easily understandable fashion. There were a lot of hoops to jump through for a USDA loan and he helped us all along the way and was available when I had to ask any questions. We had problems along the way with small things and we solved them quickly and kept the process moving. It was a lot to wrap your head around and having someone that completely understands the process is a must-have. I really can’t express enough how amazing Brian was from the get-go. I was a first-time homeowner and I walked into this process as if I were blindfolded, with so much nervousness and so many questions. From the start, Brian reviewed my info thoroughly and was very confident he could help me with a loan and easy-going, to boot. Whenever I came to him and his assistant, they were able to ease my worries and answer the endless questions I had. He never left me hanging — literally responding to emails and texts within minutes. And, he did the impossible for me — he was able to expedite my timeline in a way that leaves me in awe and forever grateful. I travel a lot for work, leaving me with very limited windows to look for a home and then go through the purchasing process. As a first time home buyer, Team Hunton was great with helping me throughout the process. At times I was unsure of what documentation may be needed throughout the whole process in applying to buy home. Christina Destefano and Russ Vescovi were super helpful in the process, especially when I may had been confused on certain documents for the loan. The biggest thing for me is that they were very responsive in helping me identify the specific documents that were needed for the lender. Trying to purchase a home in the midst of Covid is probably the craziest thing I’ve done, and I went in with the intention that maybe the process would take a very long time due to being backed up with more clients than just me, however they were very on-top of things. I found the home I wanted, we started the process at the very end of August, and now I’ll be closing on my first home tomorrow (the process took about a month). I’m really happy I chose Hunton – MBA Mortgage for the process overall, Christina and Russ were great and very pleasant to work with.
